Polished Concrete Floors
In the tropics, conventional floor
coverings are short lived due to
moisture, weather and routine wear.
Unlike conventional flooring, polished concrete is not a coating and does not trap moisture beneath it like carpet, tile,
and other floor coverings. In addition, chemical
hardeners are applied to concrete floors to
close concretes' pores and harden the surface of the floor.
Polishing Your Floors
Over time the luster of marble,
granite, & terrazzo floors can dull due
to every day wear and tear. Elegant
polishing can restore your marble, granite, & terrazzo floors to their
original timeless beauty and elegance.
The Concrete Polishing Process
-
We use metal bonded diamonds to remove existing
adhesives, surface stains and blemishes.
- Our diamond grinding pads remove the porous
surface of the concrete..
-
Resin bonded diamonds are used to
polish the concrete in stages; each stage
leaving the concrete surface smoother
and more refined.
-
An ultra fine diamond pad bring the
concrete to a beautiful, durable luster.
-
Tumbled glass, colored stone,
brass screws, even engine gears can be
added to redi-mix concrete and exposed
during the polishing process for a one
of a kind finish. Additionally, solvent based dyes can
be applied to existing concrete for rich
and vibrant color.
Polished concrete does not require any floor waxes or cleaners. A simple sweeping and mopping will keep the floor looking like the first day it was polished.
